Coalesce.io Implementation

Coalesce.io is DigBI's go-to technology partner for data pipelines, data transformation, and simplifying data engineering. We were very fortunate to present at the Snowflake World Tour in New York and at Coalesce's webinar, "From Data Silos to Automated Data Driven Insights " (https://coalesce.io/events/from-data-silos-to-automated-data-driven-insights/), plus be featured in Coalesce's 2025 Top Data Trends (https://coalesce.io/reports/the-top-data-trends-for-2025/).

So, why does DigBI does recommend Coalesce? It comes down to these top four items:

1. The speed and efficiency of building and/or maintaining data transformations in Coalesce cannot be matched with any other product currently in the market.
2. Related to point #1, the return on investment with Coalesce saves customers countless hours, which in turn, allows my team to provide faster and more reliable results. More on this later...
3. The product works. The acronym Keep It Stupid Simple applies here. Data transformations can be hard but Coalesce doesn't require you to deal with an overly complex user interface. Truly, anybody from a business analyst with little to zero data architectural knowledge, to a seasoned data engineer, can have meaningful conversations about their Coalesce pipelines.
4. The entire team at Coalesce is obsessed with making their product the GOAT (greatest of all time) and their passion shows every time we have a meeting with them. This is true all the way from employees to Armon Petrossian , CEO & Co-Founder of Coalesce.

Before Coalesce, there was Wherescape to help with data warehouse creation and of course, there is dBT. We won't get into using AI or asking Chat GPT to build DML/DDL statements ;) A common practice was to write out all of my DDL/DML statements when creating a prototype data transformation pipeline. Depending on the complexity of the transformation, it could take a few minutes or a few hours. The entire DigBI Team is experienced with leveraging GUI tools like SSIS, Informatica, and Alteryx. But with these solutions and me writing SQL, time is of the essence, especially when each minute is billable money for our customers. 

Instead of writing complex DML, creating temp tables, and views, why not take full advantage of today's technology with drag & drop in Coalesce? We can literally build a data mart with Type 2 Dimensions, Fact tables, Machine Learning, and also flatten source JSON data within less than 10 minutes. Will the data be 100% accurate on the first pass? Maybe, maybe not but that's not the point :) Coalesce saves teams hundreds of hours and that equates to billable contractor costs or labor costs. I know that my customers would prefer to spend $1,000 instead of $10,000 to build a test data modeling concept with Coalesce.
